Installation of 67 trees along SE Foster Blvd between 52nd and 92nd Ave. When selecting trees, Brandon selected a diverse pallet of trees based on his knowledge of tree species’ tolerances for the hot and exposed conditions.
SE Foster Boulevard tree planting
Columbia Children’s Arboretum construction oversight.
Redevelopment of an asphalt road and building a new paved path running the length of the Columbia Children’s Arboretum. The project took place very close to many trees, including a designated heritage tree, requiring careful excavation and regular arborist oversight.
Southeast Portland utility tree protection planning and construction oversight.
Constructing new sewer and water lines through southeast Portland including Ladd’s Addition, Sunnyside and Buckman neighborhoods. Brandon designed tree protection plans to prevent tree damage. Work occurred very closer to large trees requiring arborist oversight when roots were encountered and overhead pruning for equipment access.
Building Demolition Tree Protection Plan
Demolition of an existing building required a tree protection plan noting tree and fence locations. A report accompanied the report summarizing actions for the contractor to avoid damaging on-site trees.
